Geraldine Finucane Fails In Challenge To Open Inquiry

The widow of Pat Finucane says she’s disappointed after losing her challenge against the Government’s refusal to hold a public inquiry into his murder.

The solicitor was murdered by loyalists in 1989.

Geraldine Finucane had appealed against a 2015 judicial ruling that the decision taken by then Prime Minister David Cameron in 2011, was lawful.
