O’Connor: Clare Not Getting Carried Away With Kilkenny Win

Clare joint hurling manager Gerry O’Connor says no one is getting carried away after their record win over Kilkenny in the National Hurling League.

The 2-19 to 0-12 scoreline was the biggest loss ever suffered by Brian Cody in his time in charge of the Cats, and their heaviest loss in league or championship since 1992.

It leaves the Banner second in the standings due to their superior scoring difference, with a trip to leaders Tipperary to come in two weeks time.
