The Sports Minister's being called on to take decisive action on the Olympic tickets scandal.

Shane Ross has been consulting with the Attorney General about his next move, after the Olympics Council of Ireland refused to allow an independent member join an OCI inquiry into the issue.

THG Sports executive Kevin James Mallon is in custody in Rio, facing allegations of illegally re-selling tickets that were part of the OCI's allocation.

Brazilian police have issued arrest warrants for four other executives at the company.
